    When launching a website, most of us forgot a number of simple things, so it's become very important to have a check list.
    Here is the important must have check list which needs to checked against before the official launch of website.

    1. Proof Reading

    This is very important to check all the spelling and content as its directly gets impacted on your customers. If you think you have read all the website content then read it again, also tell someone from your team to check for errors. Also if you have dynamic content on website which is coming from backend check for that also.

    2. Favicon

    First thing First. We all know about this favicon icon, but we generally foget to use this. This is brand icon which can be seen in user's browser. It is also saved with bookmarks which helps users to identify your brand.     You must check all your website links by clicking on them, it will assure you that all links are working perfectly. Also check for the external links if they are working correctly or not.     Before launching the website you should check all the website with all the validation. If your website contains contact form or any other form see to it that it will accept proper data, also use captcha so it will prevent from robot attack. Also you can check for closing tags, alt tags for images.

    7. Graceful Degradation

    It doesn't mean telling your website visitors,"Download the Most Recent Browser". Most of time users have JavaScript turned off for security reasons, so your website should work properly in this conditions also. For this you can follow the below steps,

    The installation of this code will help you know about website statistics to see how your website performs. Track daily hits on the website, bounce rate, pageviews, traffic source etc. This data is very useful to know about your customers / visitors.

    Always add sitemap.xml to your website's root directory, it will allow most of the search engines to easily index your site.
